    Laptop Sometimes Won't Sleep

    Hello there,
I own an HP dv6tqe-7000 which I got about 2 months ago. I've been running into a problem for about 3 weeks now that I don't think was apparent when I first got it.

Sometimes when I close the lid, the laptop simply will not go to sleep. I'll wait maybe 5 minutes and the HP LED continues to stay on, as does the fan.

When I open the lid, the power LED is on, the Wifi LED is on, but the screen is black as well as the mute sound LED even though I had turned it off. The only solution is to hold the power button down.

Other times, it will take maybe a whole minute to enter sleep mode. Could it be because of a process/program that prevents it from sleeping? I recently just updated both my integrated and dedicated GPU drivers but the problem still occurs.
