Hello SOR and welcome to Seven Forums.

Not trying to be nit-picky here, but it would help to know exactly what is slow. Is boot time slow? Shut down time? Opening web pages? Accessing files? Video or audio lagging when playing games? Downloading files from internet? Depending on what the issue is might determine a specific course of action to try and fix it.

In the meantime, you could try doing basic maintenance chores like running a full virus scan, disk cleanup, defrag, check disk, system file checker scan, etc.

You could also follow the suggestions in this tutorial on how to optimize Windows 7. (Not every suggestion will apply. Feel free to pick and choose if you think it might help. But keep track of any changes you make to your computer so you can undo something if it turns out not to help.)

    Optimize Windows 7

One of the Forum experts prepared a couple of troubleshooting tutorials that may help isolate a specific problem if that's what is ailing your machine.

And finally, if you want a machine that's free from manufacturer installed bloatware and crapware that usually slows things down, you could also consider a clean reinstall of the operating system.

Everything is fast but once I play a game the gameplay its self begins to lag and becomes frame by frame like my FPS is getting slower. weather it be a simple flash game on the internet or a more graphically intensive game such as Dayz.
Now I know that those are to completely different types of games, one utilizing my flash player and the other using my graphics card. yet they both become sluggish after a short time

Is this a laptop? If so, does it have a gaming gpu built in? What is the exact make and model of the PC in question? I have a sneaky feeling it's your GPU. Either your PC/laptop doesn't have the needed GPU for gaming or if your lucky it's just an outdated driver. It could also be the game is just to intensive for your GPU. Like Crysis and Crysis 2.
