trouble resuming from s3 sleep every single time.

as above, i have a 3 month old rig that is facing this weird issue :

whenever it is put to sleep (doesn't matter if it's manual or auto) and resumed, it will power up for 2s, then power down, and up again.. finally reaching the prompt that says the computer has not been shut down properly.

i've tried all methods listed there (incl repair install, sfc/scannow) but no luck.
s3 sleep mode...

what could the issue be? i've run the power report and it's below for ref :
