I think you should do a bit better in winsat too, maybe around the 28,000+ range. You shouldn't BSOD running winsat though.
Maybe try posting in our Crashes and Debugging forums.

I can't see anywhere in this thread where he as put the actual speed of his ram Gary?

If it's 1333mhz or 1600mhz then his speed is spot on, surely he could only expect 28,000+ if he has some 2133mhz or faster ram.

Paul.

Hi Gary, yes I saw that, but where does that mention the actual speed of the ram?

It says the type and amount, but not the speed? Unless I am being real thick and Frequency 79 refers to a certain speed?

Hopefully he can enlighten us with this information next time he visits this thread.

I would take a guess that it's 1600mhz ram, and if it is then his 20,000 score is spot on.

Paul.

Hi guys, and thanks all of you for the assistance. I honestly don't know much about technical stuff, so I don't know if these screenies are the right ones. Hope I posted the right ones.

Very helpful. Your RAM is 1600MHz and that winsat score is fine for your system as Paul said for 1600 RAM.

Probably I am in the right section for this issue. If not, please move it. A couple of days ago I changed the motherboard and processor, but not the RAM as the RAM is apparently compatible with that board as stated in GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-B85M-D3H (rev. 1.0/1.1) ... Now, I...

I'm curious to see what other people are getting for their WEI disk scores. I would like to see all types and combinations of drives to see how they differ in performance. If possible try to keep HDTach/HDTune/etc. scores to a minimum as there is another thread for that. Some general questions...

Memory Assessment Speed
Just a curious question; I ran winsat mem a couple of weeks ago and got a 13600+ read. Ran it today and got 15985 read. Only system change was adding a Radeon 6670 Video card. Does memory speed change this much ? What might cause the disparity ?

Memory speed
I have 4 Gb of corsair 1600MHz C9 DDR3 memory installed on an Asus Crosshair III Formula 790FX motherboard. The motherboard specs said that it supported 1600 MHz memory, yet the memory is only running at 1333 MHz. Do I need to OC the M/board in someway to get the full speed out of the memory...
