    Keyboard inactive occasionally after sleep

Every so often, when coming back from a sleep, the keyboard on my Compaq laptop is inactive. I can use the keyboard accessibility option to enter my password to restore Windows. Then, I have to shut all applications, and restart my computer. At that point, everything seems to be working as it should. It is simply very annoying to have to do this every so often. Any ideas?

Hello and welcome billring mate one option that I would be using is not putting it to sleep unless you have a real reason for it.

Personally I don't see the need for it and my machines are just set as in pic.
