Windows 7: I can't put Real-Time priority to a proccess

I can't put Real-Time priority to a proccess

Hello there,

I'm using Matlab daily and I am using it in Real Time and I have some isues, so my friend told me how to put it on Real Time priorty in Task Manager...

I tried but I god error message:

Unable to set Realtime priority. The priority was set to High instead...


Any ideas how to fix it ?

If God is giving you an error message, you may not be able to do anything.

But seriously, I don't have an answer; just couldn't pass up the opportunity for a little humor.

Word or warning. Do not set anything as real time, depending on what it does it can bring your system to a halt. If the application eats every single CPU cycle there will be nothing left for anything else, like your mouse, keyboard, etc.
