| | Laptop stays at Black screen for 10+ mins after logging in I have Windows 7 on my laptop and after I start it up and enter my password to login to windows I have to wait another 10-15 minutes for my desktop to appear. It's just a black screen, but the kicker is that I can move my mouse and see it on screen. I've never heard of or seen anything like this before. Anyone know what's causing this or how to fix it? |

| | How old is the laptop? Is it still under warranty? What you are describing sounds like the LCD is going bad. |
