Computer performance awfully slow - suddenly.

I have not installed new software, windows native software like windows movie maker etc... takes awfully long to open up - like 20 minutes. And the system is same as it was the day before.
Nothing has changed,yet drastic change in performance.
Specs:
WINDOWS 7 32 BIT ULTIMATE.....CORE 2 DUO E7300 2.6 GHZ DUAL CORE....
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 430
(and new monitor with magic tune installed!)

I think the problem might either be in this magic tune crap or nvidia driver, since the transition are super slow- i think it is the nvidia- but i have a feeling i am wrong.
