Windows says I am low on memory when I have 24gb ram

ill admit I am using 22/24 gb of ram or something like that when I start getting the message saying to close an app (the main one I am using) because windows is running low on ram.

is there a way to disable this message because i would prefer to close a background application if i need to (and i almost never do) the only real error is the fact windows is telling me there maybe low memory (still have 1-2 GB unused ram)

also with the SSD when/if I do run out there is little to no impact generally anyway, that and most my apps are on the ram drive.

also, semi related is windows likes to change the colour mode on occasion when computer is running fine, think i have fixed that one though....

Hello allyrats, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check to make sure that you have your page file set to be managed by the system (default). If the page file is turned off or set to low, then it could cause you to get a low memory warning.

Hope this helps,
