| | Wireless Internet Adapter Malfunction Hello, My computer, about every 20 minutes, stops working and I get the message Internet Explorer cannot find the site. When I run a diagnostic, it says that my wireless internet adaptor has dropped the connection to the internet. I have checked if I am connected to the rooter and if a cable is bad. I have Norton and PC cleaner. It's not any kind of crimeware. This started after I had set up the wireless connection. It had worked well for about four months and then it started doing this. There is another laptop in the house and their wireless internet connection is fine. Basically, I am not an expert at computer language, so if possible, simpler words would be appreciated. Kate |

| | Norton could be part or all of your problem... welcome to the forums...open a cmd prompt and type ipconfig /all press enter... save the file in txt and post it here... |

| | under all programs, in the accessories folder, is command prompt, opens a small black box... type ipconfig /all enter go to file, save as, put it on your desktop, add it as an attachment here in your next post. This tells us much info about your network... |

| | Open Notepad on the desktop...then when you get the ipconfig /all, right click in it, select all, go up to top left in the title bar, right click the little icon and go to edit, copy, then go to the Notepad window and paste, then file, save as, put on desktop as ipconfig.txt |
