SydebySyde error - event 33?

Okay, I will run it over night :)

No. D: drive was the partition where I had Win XP installed on an old computer. E: was for personal stuff. Then we got this computer which came with a SATA drive (which now are C: and F: drives) and those D: and E: drives ended up as back up, BUT Win XP was never uninstalled from D: drive, the folders are still there, is not being used and I could use the space. Since then, the OS always ran from C: drive.

Here you go: (Let me know if you want me to translate it or something)

Great, Malwarebytes overnight.

So basically, you got a new machine and put your old drive in it and you still have XP untouched other than using the partition as storage on the old drive. Then you installed Win7 on the new drive. Correct?
You'd like to reclaim the space on that drive since it's mostly XP and older programs. correct?

Let's hold off on the for now - just leave the D: & E: partitions alone for now. Create a new thread after we're done to help re-organize your disks. If there's too much feedback, everyone gets confused trying to follow all of the threads and conversations, ok?

Disc 0)
D: Active, Primary (XP os)
E: Extended (storage)

Disc 1)
C: System, Boot ,Page, Active, Crash Dump, Primary
F: Primary

I think that's a text representation of the discs - had to dbl check (translate) boot and dump
but everything looks copasetic.

I'll wait for the MGAdiag and results of Malwarebytes.

Pay attention to Step7 - telling you to wrap the output in a code box.

Code box example
MGAdiag resulting output
You can click the # icon on the posting menu first and then paste the output between the tags,
or you can paste the MGAdiag output first and then select all of the MGAdiag output and click the # icon on the post menu.

I find it easier to click # first, then put a new line between the two tags, then paste the output.

Yeah - like that =:> You posted the MGA diag while I was typing. You are quick!

The installation is counterfeit
The Key is the Acer/eMachine/Gateway Key - the motherboard is an ECS retail one, built two years before WIndows was released.and activated using an Activation Exploit.
You need to reformat and reinstall using genuine media and a legal key.

NoelDP: Thanks

Cecillia: Forum rules don't allow members to assist with counterfeit installations. Talk to your brother about giving you the media.

This puts you back to the three options in post# 18.

That's about all anyone here will be able to do until your machine is running licensed software.
