WIE dropped alot for no obvious reason. Any suggestions?

Hey guys. I just ran windows update, got an update for my nvidia video card, and 2 regular updated for 64x systems. nothing out of the ordinary by any means. So i am looking around, thinking maybe it will help my wie score. I went to the system properties page, and it says refresh your system (probably because of the video card update). I run the assessment, and my score dropped on my ssd. From a 6.8 to a 6.3. I was like "really?" so i ran it again. nothing else running, just the test. then my ssd dropped to a 5.9, and my ram and cpu dropped to a 5.4, from a 5.5.

Any suggestions as what is going on? I am aware that the numbers don't necessarily mean that much as long as my rig is running good. But numbers don't just drop like that for no reason.

Thanks in advance for the input. You guys are always great!

As hardware speed and performance improve, higher score ranges will be enabled. The standards for each level of the index generally stay the same. However, in some cases, new tests might be developed that can result in lower scores.
What is the Windows Experience Index?
