WEI Fails at Refresh

I installed a newer Graphics card (Powercolour 4670 1Gb) and after win7 restarted i Installed the Win 7 drivers for it from ATI.

I rebooted the PC, and checked my WEI score (it was 5.8 with the older card), it said i had installed New Hardware and need to refresh, so i did. it gets to a certain point then a message pops up that says. "Windows Assesment Tool has stopped working" and it cannot continue.

I'm not that worried about it, but would like to know the cause of the error.

cheers

It crashes at "Direct 3D 9 Batch Assessment" The event log has numerous winsat.exe fails and i have the latest Radeon drivers from ATI installed.

O.K. did as you suggested but got to : Assessing DirectX Batch performance. Then the error: CreateShader failed to produce a valid shader cache. Now it seems to be getting somewhere

On the gaming PC that I'm fixing for my son's friend, the WEI fails to complete, and fails the "video" portion... could the old 9800 GTX 512MB video card be failing? I've installed the newest nVidia drivers and all seems to running well, but I can't use WEI to get a baseline before I start tweaking...

Windows fails to boot, startup repair fails to fix
Hello more knowledgeable person than myself. I've been having trouble trying to get my computer to boot; I'd noticed a drop in performance (still unsure why) so decided to boot up in safe mode and poke around - it was not my original intention to install Advanced SystemCare 5.3.0 but somehow it...

Explorer windows auto refresh then don't auto refresh. Why?
Hello everyone. I'd like to know why win7 64bit decides by itself to auto refresh a window minute and literally the next second or two later it does not. Lets say, I save a pic from the net, just before I go into the browser I already have my downloads folder open. I save a couple pics and I go...

Two issues: Upgrade install of W7x86 fails and W7x64 fails to clean install
Clean installing W7 x86 is no problem. But 1) upgrading Vista x86 to W7 x86 fails and automatically rolls back to Vista, and 2) attempt to clean install W7 x64 results in BSOD when rebooting to finalize the process. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
