    An interesting read about Native Windows Defragmentation


    I found this from the TechRepublic newsletter however I had to login to get to this so it might not download but....

    I must admit I expected some long drawn out high tech discussion but the description of fragmentation was so easy for a numb nut like me to understand.

    File fragmentation is such an easy concept to grasp and this is why I`m always telling people Defrag your hard drive EVERYDAY.

    I think having another defrag tool ( smart defrag, disk keeper etc. ) is a must.

    Thanks ICit2lol. Good read. I read along time ago the Disk Keeper made the basic degrag tool for Windows 7, (non Enterprise). Some how Windows 7 doesn't get as fragmented as older operating systems did.
