| | missing recycle bin Hi all I am using Windows 7 and my recycle bin icon is missing from my desktop. Doing the "right click on the desktop, personalize, change desktop icons, check the recycle bin box" doesn't work. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks. |

| | I found the problem by accident. When I right clicked on my desktop., I noticed the word "view" in the window that popped up. I selected it and found that "show desktop icons" was not checked. All the desktop icons magically reappeared when I checked it. Thanks for the replies. |
