How do I access the drop down arrow to view previously visited website

I recall one of my older versions of Windows had a dropdown arrow between the Forward and Back arrows on the top left of the screen. This may have been the case with my present Win7 version of IE9, before I updated the program. Now that dropdown arrow has vanished. How do I get it back, if at all possible?

Hello charita and welcome to Seven Forums.

I believe you can left-click and hold on the back arrow and a drop-down list of previously visited web sites will appear. Or you could access the browsing History with Ctrl+Shift+H.

Thanks for that quick reply. I believe you meant the right click and not the left click on the Back button, to view past visited websites. Yes, the right click works. Thanks again for that tip.

You are absolutely correct. It is right-click! My left and right brain got mixed up! :)
Glad you figured it out and thanks for posting back.
