realflow100 it really hasn't been all that long. One hour.
I really don't know anybody that uses striped volume.

Striped volume requires multiple physical hard drives. Not just one.

I have TWO seperate hard drives and made two same-size partitions one on each drive (4128MB) and want to striped them together but the next button is greyed out.

One of your hard drives is a system drive, Windows is installed on it. You need two physical drives independent of the drive where Windows is installed. Partitions are irrelevant.

So you need three Hard Drives. One for Windows, two for stripping.

Stripped volumes (RAID 0) are generally overrated. The purpose is to improve performance but under real world conditions the gains are rather modest. In most cases RAID 0 is more trouble than it is worth.

i dont have more than 2 hard drive connecting places on my motherboard (one for cd/dvd drive one for OS drive) replaced cd/dvd drive with an HDD of 250GB main HDD is 500GB?

i wanted to make a small 4.03GB partition to put my pagefile on to get best performance than just using external drive only.

    realflow100 I have a suggestion.

Forget about all the raid stuff and and moving pagefile, just install a SSD for Windows 7 and your programs.
