Hardware Interrupts taking 20%-30% of CPU after gaming
I've read a few threads on this problem but none of them really solved my problem.
This has never happened before on my laptop but after I did a clean install of Windows 8 Pro, this problem started to show up. I went back to Windows 7 (Factory default) but the problem still persists.
I used to game with no problem but now when I game for around 10-20mins (when laptop starts heating up) my hardware interrupts shoot up to 20-30% of my CPU (process monitor), ive used latencymon to try to find the problem and it seems to be "ACPI.sys". Read around and tried disabling some device but did not fix the problem?
I've tried:
- disabling anything that was able to be disabled in device manager
- re installed drivers/ checked drivers
- updates
Is there any other solutions I can try to fix this problem? (I want to leave updating my BIOS as a last option as this problem was never there before)
