1x4GB VS 2x2GB additional RAM -- Does It Matter?

    Thank you all for your response. I read it all and I decided to by 2x2GB as I will probably not want any more RAM in the future... not on this PC. I don't even need the 8GB, I will only need it for Premiere Pro which I use to edit and render videos for my YouTube channel. The rest of the time it will be asleep I am sure xD

this has gone on a while now. i originally brought 2 ramsticks, one of them worked on its own, but the other didnt. i sent it back, brought a new one, and i'm still having problems... the bsods that come up are 'IRQL_NOT_OR_LESS_EQUA'L, 'MEMORY_MANAGEMENT' and 'page fault in non paged area' ...
