OK guys, here is the autoruns list - I do see a few missing files, but not sure how to diagnose the Windows explorer problem. Please let me know if something looks obvious.

    autoruns file

I saved the autoruns file to my hard drive but when I attempted to upload it to this forum, the file format was not acceptable, so I opened a MS Word document and pasted the file into it. Then the .doc file was able to be uploaded, but now I don't know if you can open the autoruns file. If not, please let me know how to upload the file. Thanks

Hum Centaur I was thinking too that perhaps failing all else Duke could do a snip or two or three of the opened out run and save those to desktop and then post as attachments, or did you need the files themselves to delve into?

Well john that would have been fine if the list was small... There are almost 18 tabs.. and lets assume you take 2 snips for each tab... thats almost 36 snips .... ...

let wait for his comments on my last post... if that doesn't work... i will ask Duke to take the snips only for Explorer and Logon

    zipped autoruns file

The document I uploaded is a word document, but after opening the document you will see the arn file and when you double click on the arn file it opens the autoruns file.

But I went ahead and zipped the file, so here is the arn file in zip format.

Same issue after reinstall of Windows 7

    Hi,

    First time posting.

After reinstalling windows 7 I have had the same issue. I have reformatted my drive & reinstalled a 2nd time after following the suggestions on microsoft web site.

With the 2nd reinstall I tried using my computer without reintalling other programs. All was ok. Then I reinstalled programs & tested them over a few days and all seemed ok. But after a few days I am getting the same error message. I uninstall my video drivers the problem goes away. Tried reinstalling drivers & problem returned.

I reintalled from a back up all was ok for a few days. I again installed one program at a time & all seemed ok. But again after a few days I get the same error.

    I have attached Autoruns report.

Any help would be much appreciated.
