    Power options on my Desktop

    Hello, everyone -

my computer doesn't seem to hold my settings to never sleep. Below is what is shown after I reboot. I would like it to hold the "High Performance" option so that my desktop never sleeps.

Any ideas why it wouldn't hold the setting.

    Best regards,

    Eldin

None of those settings control whether the computer goes into sleep mode or not. You need to go a few steps further for that,

    Hibernate - Enable or Disable

    Option 4, step #4.

I've never ever done it that way, so your statement cannot be true, because that's how I've done it in the past.

This looks just like a more advance method, but since the normal method is not working properly, then I will take your advice and do the more advance method.

    Thanks :)

    Hello Eldin,

After you select (dot) High Performance, and set all sleep settings to never or off, do you click on OK to apply? Keep an eye on what power plan you are setting while in the advanced power plan setting. It's not hard to change the plan by mistake while setting them.
