Hmm pretty disappointing jut stuck a brand new card in and the graphics actually brought the WEI down to 4.6 from 4.9!!

Old card Asus AX 850 Extreme new card Gigabyte GT Geforce 610 any ideas as I thugh the new would be better than that.

One of three things good be the cause.

-Video card driver is poorly made, might have to wait a couple months for a very good one to be put out if its a new card.

-Make sure you have the latest driver.

-Try clearing all scores and recreate the entire system. A bug happens in WEI sometimes where I have seen this before. Clearing all scores and recreating typically solves the issue.

    @ ICit2lol

Well, the GeForce 610 scores horribly on 3D Mark 11 (534 GPU score) thus WEI is showing a low score. Even a laptop Nvidia GPU such as Nvidia GeForce 630M scores double the amount of the 610 desktop card which translates to 6.7 Graphics/Gaming Graphics WEI according to this source: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M - NotebookCheck.net Tech

Yes well the thing is you have to remeber this is my tester and only has DDR2 on an Intel DG43NB but has a fairly decent CPU Q9650.

The thing I couldn't understand is the old Asus AX 850 scoring better when the specs do not come near the new card

I'll redo the driver though and see what happens.

John, I read up on the card and it looks like your WEI score is about right for it.

Thanks Steve it really isn't a big deal as I only test on this machine I just looked at the specs for the Asus AX 850 and it just looked like it was a "lesser" card as it only had a driver up to Vista 64bit and the memory at 256MB .

Just noticed well woke up to myself the AX is a Radeon http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/E...256M/#overview perhaps that is what the difference is then?

That is an Asus site talking about an Asus card though. I really don't know the answer.

Its no big deal Steve hopefully Monday I shall get the 650 Ti for Ivy then the tester can have the basic 650 from Ivy or I might even swap that into the Sandy and the Sandy into the tester - if you can follow that I know Gary won't LOL!!
