I am very embarrassed by the hard drive score, but this is a new build ( under 1 month ) and I ran out of money to purchase a SSD. Once I get the SSD, I believe my drive score will go up a significant %

Cranky, great scores. Very nice rig. Don't worry about the hard drive scores. Get the SSD whenever you can, but that is a nice rig, to be sure. But, you will love the SSD.

crankypenguin,
That's a cranking rig cranky. Definitely power in reserve and like Steve said there's plenty of time to wait for a killer sale of a top flight SSD drive. Look for a minimum 120gb and pull the trigger when you can. You should get some picture together and post them in "Show us your rig" thread !

Alright, my water cooler is on the way in the mail as I stated in my intro thread. I expect it between Wed and Fri this upcoming week. Once I have that installed I will take pics and show you guys. And thanks for the kind words. I am actually saving up for two SSD drives so I can set up a simple RAID. I was thinking two small sized SSD drives to save money, after all...I just plan to use them for the OS and a few programs. All my data is on external SATA drives.

I think 2 small in raid will give you good bench numbers, but believe you may be better served with one larger drive. A Guy
