    The GT 520 is a less then high end video card I'm afraid. It lists considerably lower then my GT 240 (GDDR5) for instance

    Have a look at the chart in the link in my above post. That is a considerable jump, above my GT 240. A Guy

    While a great WEI gives one bragging rights, at the end of the day, it's performance in actual use that matters. If your rig meets your needs and is fast enough for you, the WEI doesn't really matter. What does matter is if your performance starts to suffer, either spontaneously or after a modification, a change in the WEI can give you an idea where the problem lies.

    It's just I was kind of stunned to see the difference an SSD could make in the Hard Disk Scores. I was stuck at 5.9 with my previous mechanical HDD.

    I was kind of expecting the incremental upgrade from the new CPU and RAM.

    The SSD score kind of knocked my socks off.

    And I'll wager the performance of the SSD over the HDD also rendered you sockless!
