    Yes I'm sure. I'm running 8gb@1600 of PNY ram, and I get 7.9 for ram. I think his ram is better than mine.

    I've only switched to Nocs for fans, and put a radiator in place of the fan on my GPU. I don't have the disease

    Does he have 1 stick of 8gb or 2x 4gb? If it's 1x8 then it won't be dual channel and will explain the lower score.

    I used to get 7.8 with 1600, I found it needed a slight oc to get 7.9 but I guess all ram is different.
