Missing Microsoft Policy Platform
I'm not sure if this is where i should post this but here we go.
Our network has System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection.
We have been encountering issues on some of the user's computer where services are missing that are needed for the System Center to do it's job. One of these is the BITS...which thanks to this tutorial: Windows Update Error 80246008 in Windows 7 - Fix
I was able to get that issue taken care of.
Now we have found the following services which have also been deleted:
Microsoft Policy Platform Local Authority
Microsoft Policy Platform Processor
I tried taking the registry file from a good computer and importing it into troubled computer, but no dice. It may have not been the only thing i needed to do to fix it?
I cannot find anywhere of how to get these services installed, there are alot of pages describing it and such but nothing I can find helps me get them re-installed onto the computer.
The computers are running XP, 7 x32 and 7 x64
Any help would be soooo very awesome!
