Very slow to startup with Win 7 home premium (HP TouchSmart)

I bought 2 new computers, both HP windows 7 home premium, TouchSmart all in 1 computers. 1 works perfectly and the other takes about 10 minutes to get past the black screen that says "Starting Windows", once it does, the computer seems to run fine. It is still under factory warranty until Sept. 2013.

Is there a place that I can go and get remote help to fix this issue or what do I need to do? Help it is driving me so crazy that I just quit turning it off and I let it run for weeks.

    thanks

Have you ran the MSCONFIG utility to disable unnecessary start up files? Some PC manuf include a lot of Bloatware, crap you really dont need but is preloaded for your future frustration. [ Start -> Type "msconfig" in the Search Bar. Press ENTER -> Click Startup Tab ]

I suggest disabling non essential start up applications as well as browsing through the Uninstall a program section in the Control Panel and nuking any programs you do not use or foresee using.

    ran msconfig

I ran msconfig.exe before posting this message. I unchecked all programs except windows and my computer took 254 seconds to bootup.

    What else can I try?

Is there a place or number I can call to get Windows7 support, my computer is still under factory warranty?

    Thanks

Might be best to try and contact HP online but here are some phone numbers

You get a year's free HP support with a new PC, so I'd use it to shake out the problems or RMA the unit.

If you want to get past the huge load of corrupting HP crapware which comes preinstalled then look over the steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

At the minimum if you keep the HP install I would Clean Up Factory Bloatware. Just establishing a Clean boot may solve your problems. But you need to check System File integrity because the HP bloatware is so corrosive it ruins the Win7 OS.

There is a free program called PC Decrapifier. It will scan your computer and generate a listing of bloatware and other unnecessary stuff. You can then decide what to get rid of. I've used it on several PCs without issue.
