error code 0f00:1332 (and some bad blocks?)
I have two computer. My desktop is nice andd runs great. But my laptop I use occasionally when I play Final Fantasy 11. Pretty much all I use it for.
Lately I come to notice issues with it. It will be about 30 seconds before the color appears at the STARTING WINDOWS screen. When they do appear it hangs there for anywhere from 40 seconds to 2 or 3 minutes. Then the screen is black from about 30 seconds to a minute. Then I see log in screen.
I have checked my Event Log in regards to start up. I have seen Event ID 100, 102. I have seen some in the 200s. Sorry I can't name all I seen here, I am doing this from pure memory. Right now I am running dianostics.
Something popped up halfway through the tests. I'll type it word for word

The system in question is a Dell Studio 1555 Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium. I got it around early January of 2010. On December 25, 2010 nearly every part failed. It was under warranty then so all parts replace. Since then its worked fine. The warranty wor out just this january.
I am not sure wwhat to do. I am not computer savvy. all I do on a computer is play video games like Everquest 2 and Final Fantasy 11. Read news. Look up weather. Sometimes watch movies. On laptop I recently deleted World of Warcraft (THANK GOD) which oddly helped boot up time.
I've gone into MSconfig and clicked HIDE ALL MICROSFT SERVICES and unchecked what was left. I have tried virus scans. All turned up clean. I have used Wise Care for registry and disk cleaning. It helped somewhat.
When I started this thread I was like "okay hangs at start up and a few event errors. These people will telle me some diagnostics to run and some repairs to do. I'll give it a shot." I started to get these hardrive errors right as I began typing. thats why things seemed disorganized. Right now I don't have any money to spare and I love my laptop and if there is a way to save it Iwant to.
