Computer hangs briefly and frequently for no reason.

    Before I saw this I ran the Chkdsk app, and the problem appears to have gone. Thanks for your help, bit I'll leave it a couple of days before I check this thread of as solved.

    After you run the test, reverse the sticks and try again.

    Agree Joe and another option is doing one stick at a time in different slots but that is getting very pedantic but sometimes essential.:)

    The problem appears to have fixed, thanks for your help. I'll leave this unsolved for a couple more days just to make sure the problems are fixed and then I'll make a final judgement
