I do know that all who have answered this thread have a desire to help the OP and others that read our Forum all over the world. I think we all recommend programs and method that have been proven to work. We don't request someone to remove a program on a whim. We do it because we have found out that such programs cause problems.

What many new readers of our Forum probable don't know is we just don't give up. If members that have been here for a while get stumped for a cure of a problem we go to our Secret Rance and ask others for a helping hand.
After all this effort put out by members wanting to help will not work unless the person with the computer problem will work with us.
We can't help anybody who won't let us help.

For all those that read our Forum and haven't joined yet. Come and join us, it's free, easy and fun.
We have everybody from beginners to experts and all stages in between.

Sisrace you have gotten some great suggestions that have worked for thousands. So I will say it a little different.
    From you post#8
i got the full version of ashampo winoptimizer 8 so why not use it.

Simple answer; it's junk. Windows doesn't want or need a 3 rd party optimizer.

If your food is spoiled you don't eat it just because you paid for it. You throw it away. I whole heartily recommend removing winoptimizer for ever. Concider it a lesson learned.

    BACK UP/BACK UP
If your hard drive is making excessive mechanical noise back up everything you want to keep just in case of failure. Sometimes a hard drive will go belly up during a test.
Then do your hard drive test. If it was my hard drive making a lot of mechanical noises I would just plan on replacing it. No computer programs can fix a mechanical failure.

I use Windows 7 built in defrager. It puts things where Windows 7 wants them not where some 3rd party program wants them. I have tested many defrag programs and they all do it a little different and their is always a little something that doesn't get moved. My thoughts are they shouldn't or don't need moved.

Please keep in mind that Windows 7 is not like the older Windows operating systems. Windows 7 has many built in programs that work great and therefor don't need a lot of 3 rd party programs. I do use Ccleaner and have for years. When used correctly it does a fine job.
Another clean up tool built into Windows 7 that works very well is.
    Disk Cleanup : Extended
my old computer is making a lot of bad hdd noises... and my psu in it is sounding like IIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIII IIIIIIII not fun at all,

Yeah, I've tried to tell him that myself but to no avail. I like your way better But I betcha he'll come back and swear by it later

Okey. I have been on this forum for a bit now. i was totaly wrong about what i thought. i thought it was like a normal forum where a lot of people dont now what theyre talking about. i was wrong. you guys are awsome and i liked win optimizer becouse my dad said it was good. i trusted him and now im here :P Only uses the program now to remove programs from autostart. thats a thing its good at. and to burn stuff you dont need :P it totaly destroys a unwhanted program. dont gonna risk it by using it...
