How do I make sure this goes into sleep?

I want to make sure that it locks out of my account when I don't use it for a long time. It used to do this but then I noticed that it didn't anymore.

If you have a restore point from before the problem started, you could see if a system restore fixes the issue.

Oh ok I just wanted to make sure it locked out after a while. I noticed that it just stayed on so that anyone who wanted to steal my computer could make use of it becaues it didn't lock out like it should. So it's more of auto locking out problem than sleeping problem, I wasn't so clear on the original post.

Maybe you want Screen Saver with the "On resume, display logon screen" checked ?
