Adding scanned files to "send to"

Have just bought a Skypix handyscanner, which is great to use. I'm using FreeOCR with it. How can I arrange to send scans directly to this soft-ware please.

Copy (do not cut) the shortcut from the Start Menu or the Desktop to this folder:

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo\

Then right click on a scanned file...
...select "Send to" from the context menu
...select the FreeOCR shortcut from the sub-menu

BTW, you can rename the shortcut to simply FreeOCR (if desired).

The method mentioned above does not work for all apps.

    Glad to hear it.

You can most nay app there that you want:
Excel, notepad, a shortcut to folder*....

*makes a copy of the file - not send as in move.

Maybe this will work for you:
    Open with - Add Program
