    Just a crazy question. You're doing this on the Dell laptop correct?

    That is what I thought... I just can't seem to do anything until the battery is charged. So... just to recap. When I get the new battery, I should update the bios and then boot from the iso? I don't know if this thread will last until I get a new battery so I just want to know.

    You could keep it open until we fix your issue . There are post that have been open for 2 yrs or more . So you should be fine .
