Chkdsk reports file system id RAW

Trying tocopy some files to a disk and they would copy. After snooping around tried to run Chkdsk on disk.
Chkdsk reports the disk as raw but I can see folders and files. anybody know what may be up with that ???

RAW would mean not even formatted I believe if it was actually the case. Or maybe formatted, but not in a way Windows can see, like some Linux partition types.
