Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Boot Agent delays Win7 Startup?

All of a sudden my computer started taking 30-40 seconds for Windows to start loading after the BIOS display. I noticed a 3 second message on the screen that said "Realtek PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Boot Agent, Press Shift-F10 to Configure".

I've played with the setting in both Realtek and my BIOS but can't find a way to stop it.. I did an internet search and found other users with the problem but no solutions. Using an AsRock X58 board with Intel i7 2.6 GB processor (OC'd to 3.6 GB) with Win 7 Pro. I've gone through all the obvious BIOS settings and found no problems.

    Anybody have suggestions?

Could you please share how the problem was solved? It might help someone else someday.

Determined it is a hardware problem and will be shipped for repairs. This is the second defective AsRock board I have had! I may use the repaired board as a backup but I have ordered a new different brand MB, processor, memory, etc.
