    Unable to delete directory.

I'm hoping somebody can help me here, I recently moved my Dropbox directory and bungled a few things. At the moment everything seems functional except that I cannot delete one of the folders left from before the move.

The folder is 0 Bytes. It is Read-Only and I am unable to change that. Under the security tab it says: "Unable to display current owner". I have tried deleting it from an administrator explorer window, with rmdir from an administrator cmd prompt. I've tried takeown and various other tricks. Everything gives me an "Access is denied" error.

This folder was the previous location of my music library and I had MediaMonkey installed and set to monitor that folder. I have double and triple checked that I removed this from the settings and I've killed all the MediaMonkey processes I can find. This has not fixed it, but it is the only cause I can think of. I would greatly appreciate anybody's advice in this matter.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

You can try the take ownership method:
Take Ownership - Allow or Prevent Users and Groups To
    or
    Take Ownership Shortcut

Or you can install/use unlocker. See the link below the video in this post:
    Two TEMP Folders
Be sure to install the correct version (32bit vs. 64bit) and opt out of the junk that may come with the installer.

He said he already tried Takeown.

Try deleting it from a bootable Live Linux CD or flash drive. See here: Emergency Kit - save your files from a dead OS

Tutorial was written to help save files from a non-bootable Windows system but once you have the bootable flash drive you should be able to use it to delete any file or folder on the hard drive.

Yep, I saw that in the OP - but I was not sure if it was done correctly; hence the links tuts.
