I think it is due to the flash or steam. Do not allow steam to run automatically while you are not playing the game. May be Flash is making some big changes due to security issues because YouTube and many sites are very dependent on Flash. so uninstall Flash and reinstall the newest version.

hopefully it will be helpful for you........

SLOW delete speeds
I transferred about 50 gb of data from my external using usb 3.0 which was very fast. Changed my mind and went delete it all about 20 minutes later. Drag to highlight all files, press delete. It took over an hour to delete them all. Is this normal? Seems excessive, when it copied in...

Delete in Windows Explore extremely slow
When I right-click a file and click Delete (or alternately use File, Delete) in Windows Explore, there is about a 20-30 second lag time before the Delete File dialog box opens to confirm I want to move the file to the Recycle Bin. If I use Shift+Click, there is the same long lag to the Dialog to...

The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate, the computer is an HP Presario. When I delete a file in a directory, of any extension, it takes about ten minutes or more to ask if I wish to delete this file. When I delete a working file from within a program, say Excel 2007, the screen presents a transparent...

Slow to open apps, all Net apps slow, slow to type... laggy everything
I have a nearly fresh install of Win7 32 bit on a pretty modern machine. It has been intermittently laggy since I installed Win7 about three weeks ago. Here is a list of symptoms: 1) Apps are slow to open 2) Double clicks aren't registered until 5-10 seconds later 3) Typing is slow on most...
