i am recovering the data lost from the hard drive . and we know that it takes long time to scan and recover that is many hours . i cant wait it long and cant abort the scannig too. so i am hibernating my laptop since 3 days ( using few minutes and hibernating again and so on)....so i am worry about , will my pc is harmed by anyways cause i am not making it shut down.....will hibernation again and again harms my laptop?

In my experience no. Laptops are designed for that use.
It may however affect your performance next time you shutdown and boot up but that's normal
Hibernating for long period of time does not harm the laptop. But that may not be the issue.
It depends on the reason why you have to recover the data. If it is to recover deleted files the drive should not be used for any other purpose until all recoverable files have been recovered. Recovery should be done with something like a Live Linux CD or with the drive attached to a different computer. Always recover files to a different drive. Using the computer may overwrite the files in question and than there is no possibility of recovery.
If the reason is because of a physical problem with the drive, or even if this is suspected, then you will be asking for trouble. Continued use of the drive, even for the purposes of hibernation, may further damage the drive to the point that recovery is impossible.

Hibernate is perfected in Win7 and no different than shutting down the PC except that it writes whatever is left open to the HD before shutting down, then starts up much faster and restores everything that was left open. I don't think you could expect data Recovery tools to resume seamlessly after such a modified shutdown however.
If you'll tell us what the problem is with your PC we can probably help you with that.
