Are you having performance problems? What are they exactly.

Try running SFC /SCANNOW Run in Command Prompt at Boot.

If this fails I'd consider a Repair Install.

If this is factory preinstalled Windows 7 that is a corrupt install to begin with, larded with bloatware and duplicate utilities that have better version built into Windows 7, smother and cause problems so you never really experience Windows 7's native perfect performance. That's why most tech enthusiasts prefer to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 following the steps in the blue link to get a perfect install.
