Windows 7: What does it mean when I can work in Safe Mode but normal mode is unus

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

When I uninstalled Intel HD Graphics 4000 my display went to black and I was forced to shut it down manually. I am currently in the BIOS and after checking the support page for my notebook, it does look like I am one version behind on the BIOS, could that be the issue here?

BIOS is not the issue (I don't know why).

So HD intel graphics is gone... but it seems you needed it. Are you able to boot to windows (or safe mode)?

right click on empty spot on desktop->resolution->advanced sttings->adpater. Now you know what adapter you're using

Why do you have onboard graphics and separate NVIDIA one?

All of the information is listed as unavailable....
this is a nightmare.

I checked the device manager again and now the two display adapters listed are

NVIDIA GeForce GT 620M
Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
