That's all there is? So not a display adapter driver problem.

What other special devices are attached to system? Detach all external usb devices and printer from system and test.

Western digital disk? Try western digital datalifeguard and test the disk
seagate disk? use seatools

I did perform a memory diagnostic, it found nothing. This definitly sounds like another hardware problem. So maybe with the 4th service request ASUS will realize it's a lemon? I hope...

If Nvidia went away when you uninstalled and rebooted then you only need to update the Intel driver. You can do so from Device Manager or Windows Update.

You should have all Important and Optional Windows Updates, after enabling Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware (Step 3)

Once these are updated what appears in Device Manager for the Display adapter?

If you still have performance problems I'd consider getting a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which works even for retail installs and compiles all of the tools and methods which work best based on helping with thousands of them here. The Asus preinstalled software duplicates better versions built into Win7 and is buggy.

I am currently attempting to reinstall the most recent version of the Intel and Nvidia graphics drivers from the ASUS website and I will see if there are updates after that. Before I attempt to reinstall the OS, does this sound more like a hardware problem to you guys? I have had bad luck with this in the past so my suspicion is that it is, any thoughts?

my apologies for not replying sooner fellas. I had attempted a clean boot and got the same results. I reinstalled the Nvidia driver because I know that I do use it for 3D games. In the end I decided to send it back to them again and plead for a replacement unit. I even tried reinstalling the OS and that was getting stuck. Thanks for trying to help out anyways, really appreciate it.
