Error Update SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (KB970892)

Issues with installation of a recently released update from Microsoft
Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (KB970892) error code 6D9E fails to finish and install.... have went to microsoft and attempted to download the files, however installation fails during this process as well.... any suggestions?

Current OS Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600

This update also failed to install on my XP Pro SP3 machine at work. Google searches reveal that at least a few others are having this problem on both XP and Vista, but there are no solutions posted anywhere that I can find yet.

My Win 7 machines at home weren't offered this update when I ran Windows Update yesterday or today so I don't have anything to offer on that front.

1.If anybody who have XP -no idea besides it is forum for Windows 7
2.If anybody have Vista -please contact with MS to get this hotfix FIX: You receive an error message when you try to install the original release version of SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 1 on a computer that is running Windows Vista

Please download & run Readiness Tool Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, for Windows Server 2008, for Windows 7, and for Windows Server 2008 R2

This tool create CheckSur.log file in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\
folder.Please attache this file to post.
