Power Management driver ATK0110 not installed correctly?

Hi

When I re-installed my OS about 14 months ago, finding a yellow checkmark in Device Manager I installed the relevant driver, ATK0110. However, the installation process did not seem to go smoothly, e.g. I did not reach a stage where the wizard asked for the location of the relevant .ini files, but Device Manager says the driver is functioning properly.

The procedure I followed was Device Manager → Update driver → Browse my computer for driver software → Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer → Have Disk → Browse.

Soon after, however, Windows Action Center asked me to install my power management system driver and my suspicions have been fuelled further by the fact that when I use HW32INFO to monitor the hardware on full load or idle, CPU fan rpm does not change.

There are reports that if this driver is not installed at all or is installed incorrectly it may lead to all sorts of hardware problems. I am about to install my first graphics card, Nvidia GeForce GT610 2GB, so I would like to uninstall this ATK0110 driver and re-install it properly.

How do I do this safely? I really want to avoid a botched uninstall i.e. leaving driver fragments in the registry leading to even more problems.

Thanks.

P.S. I browsed the forum's tutorials and performed a Power Management analysis and the results are as below -
