Hello. I have a problem with my windows.. Last week my windows started to boot very slow, I thought that maybe I have malwares,trojans, or something else.... but I scanned and my PC is clean.What's the problem?
Another problem: I have 3 GB RAM DDR2 but my PC shows that I have 2.50 GB... Why?
P.S: I have reinstalled the Windows 1 month ago.
How big is your HDD? And how full is it? Some times its better to have a separate HDD to boot from and another to save stuff to, just makes boot times a fair bit quicker
I have and ATA HDD, 180GB and today I reinstalled my windows.. and it has the same problem: Slow boot, slow reactions on opening files/programs/games.
Is my HDD's fault? How can I figure this out?
The reason you had 2.50 GB of ram is because your main drive uses some of your virtual memory.
If you have a big enough hard drive then you should be able to give yourself more ram.

Compare the reinstall you did with the perfect reinstall compiled in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.
If it varied much from those steps then I'd do it over and follow them closely.
Otherwise go over your install closely with the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7, especially establishing a Clean Boot, testing your RAM and HD, boot-defragging your HD, and checking the logs and System Resources shown.
If all of these fail to resolve the slow boot, then try Gathering a Startup, Shutdown, Sleep, Hibernate, or Reboot Trace - Windows 7 Forums which will always give a definitive reason. You may need help reading it by the tutorial's author in comments section.

I made the perfect reinstall,again,step by step.Still the same by now.
Troubleshooting didn't helped me neither...so here it's the tracing that I hope to save me :

OP, please fill in your system specs on your profile, not giving enough to go on hardware wise.
msinfo32.exe from the search box can provide you with info, run cpu-z from cpuid.com if that isn't sufficient.
How slow is it?
Is your HD LED on the case staying bright a lot of the time?
Task Manager showing anything using the CPU too much too often? [Processes Tab]
More noise from the system then before?
Any errors or warnings from Windows 7?
Any BSOD errors or reboots out of the blue?
Did you change anything in the BIOS before this started happening?
When you say you reinstalled 7, did you wipe the partition, or just reinstall over the top of itself?
Did I ask enough questions?
