Delete the System Restore Points
  • Click on right-click on Computer, and then select Properties.
  • In the left pane, click System protection.
  • Under Protection Settings, click Configure.
  • Under Disk Space Usage, click Delete.
  • Click Continue, and then click OK.

Create a new System Restore Point
  • Click on right-click on Computer, and then select Properties.
  • In the left pane, click System protection.
  • Click the System Protection tab, and then click Create.
  • In the System Protection dialog box, type a description, and then click Create.

Do you think a complete re-installation of Windows would help, because I only had this computer for a month and all my games , and other programs are installed on a different hard drive.

Why do you want to reinstall windows ? Yes it would . But you would have to tell windows where everything is again .
