My laptop takes a hell lot of time to reboot! lags a lot while working

The system just dies when i am logged in, very difficult to work. Mouse keeps getting frozen and it feels like it wont just move.

At times the fan speed also increases (you could hear fan speed increasing).

    Please help!!!

Fan speed will increase when temperature rises, you may be suffering with overheating problem, check system temperatures

If temps are ok then i would suggest running virus/malware scans to check for any infections
If you are unable to run any scans before freezing then try running an offline scan, something like Windows Defender Offline

more loking mate some system specs would be good try Speccy Speccy - Download post a snip pic.

Then if the machine is still running like a plonker try these
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Disk Check

then these are the best on call scanners

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/download from bleeping computer

you can run the Malwarebytes and sfc and chkdsk in safe mode if necessary.

I'd Remove All of those then run SUPERAntiSpyware.com - Downloads.

Disable all add-ons in Browsers>Tools except Flash player, set only Google under search Services, ticking box to prevent any other. Uninstall anything you don't use in Control Panel>Programs. Is Babylon still there? Uninstall and then scan again.

Establish a Clean Boot, run SFC, check the logs, System Resources and other Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7

    Hi,

Have removed 17 threats including Trojan using Malware and 354 threats using Spyware.

The performance seems to be good now after cleaning up everything. But the temp seems to be around 48-50 degrees mark. any idea what could be causing that?

    Thanks for all the help!!
