Creating a shortcut to "turn off display"

    But... hmm... I tried it and it's not quite what I wanted. I'm enclosing a pic. I'd like to place what's in the pic if possible on the taskbar permanently and have it there when I start up the computer. That would be really cool... but I don't know how to program. Wondering if it's even possible.

    I'm not sure about that one, but the shortcut below can get you closer.

    Yup. I found the manual shortcut method got me one click away from what I wanted and that's pretty darned good compared to what it took before. Now installed on my taskbar, Sean, I bow seven times seven toward you in Seven Forums and pronounce you Seven Prophet and Humanitarian. I am your most humble servant, Dan.
