I ran it 3 times for a good estimate at my system spec settings listed below. Here are the results:

Thanks.

The 12 threads on my CPU are good for some things at least.

Actually, I make pretty good use of them, but a lot of software and whatnot doesn't really.

It ran the 1M in about 8.34 seconds, but I was running it an emulator, though that likely doesn't make much difference (I'll post again later, if I find that it does). The computer is kind of busy at the moment.

It seemed to only run using one thread, and was roughly 10% slower than your score which you posted in the first post in the thread you linked to.

Oh yeah, that was my old 2600K. I changed CPU's since, can't quite get into the 6s though, my best is 07.052 now.

It was a little faster outside the emulator. "8.280s" I made a post in that thread for the results.

I could push my CPU a little higher than 4.6GHz, but it's a bit of a hassle and stability is important to me. I could probably go 5+ with a liquid cooler and a new case, but it isn't a priority. I'm just using a decent air cooler and case with PWM fans and whatnot.

Image Compression
I haven't been backing up my video collection, due to it's size (~1565GBs), because I didn't want to dedicate that much hard drive space to that task, but after looking at the compression options in TI, that could be reduced to ~898GBs, so that it would fit on a 1TB drive, with some room to spare. ...

In looking for a means to backup my movies volume (~750GB), prior to sending that hard drive in for RMA, I decided to see if I could place them on a smaller drive (500GB), first by using True Image's Cloning feature (I was hoping that it would be able to compress the files enough), which failed. ...
