I'd downloaded ComboFix yesterday ay my friend's house, renaming it. I ran it in safe mode and it BSODed on me 2 times in a row after Level 6.

Click on one of the links above that goes with your Windows 7 bit versions

Save to the Desktop.

Close all windows and browsers

Right click on and choose

Press: SCAN

provide the RKreport.txt (Mode: Scan) in your reply.

2 pretty good size dump files (from yesterday's ComboFix, I guess) are still uploading, and have been for the last 8 or 9 minutes. This reply is from another PC. I have to leave the house for several hours, so you won't get those dumps or the RogueKiller results before I leave.

Ok regarding the dmp files. Can you zip them in a zip folder and then upload them. My apologizes for not stating that before hand.

Click here Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

On the Select your version drop down menu . Select Windows Vista / Windows 7 x64 and click Download

Do a full scan with MSE

Open up an Elevated Command Prompt. Click on in type CMD . Right click on CMD under Programs (1) choose . On the User Access Control window click on the Yes button . Command Prompt opens up to C:\Windows\System32>_

Type the command below

chkdsk /F /R
press [ENTER]

When you type chkdsk /F /R you will get this message

Code:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process.  Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

When you type " Y " and press [Enter] you get this message below

Code:
This volume will be checked the next time the system restarts.

C:\Windows\system32>
Close the command prompt window by typing exit and press [enter] Restart the PC manually .

When you're back inside Windows. Open up Powershell by clicking on type Powershell inside and press [ENTER] . Inside the Powershell paste the command below

get-winevent -FilterHashTable @{logname="Application"; id="1001"}| ?{$_.providername –match "wininit"} | fl timecreated, message | out-file Desktop\CHKDSKResults.txt
and Press [Enter] upload the CHKDSKResults.txt file

To paste inside the Powershell window press on the right click button on the mouse


Then run SFC /Scannow

SFC /SCANNOW
press Enter

If any corrupted files are found . Upload the log from C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
