    Power on Disc check


    How do I stop the 'Check Disc' on startup.
    It does it every time I switch on and takes an age.

    It never finds anything wrong so it seems a waste of my time.

    You might see if resetting chkdsk using one or more options in the tutorial below may be able to help.

Recently, when I boot up my computer, one out of two times, it will pull up a disc check before "Starting Windows," letting me log in, etc. I was just curious as to why it's so frequent, and if there's a way to stop it.
